03 Jul / Online training on ChemSex for addiction professionals: the second phase of the ‘ Learn Addiction ‘ project
New online course on ChemSex is now available at www.learnaddiction.eu
During the first phase of the project, from November 2019 to October 2021, the first free and open e-learning platform for addiction professionals in Europe was developed. This includes four online courses: behavioral addictions, addictions in young people, the gender perspective in addictions, and European drug prevention quality standards.
The platform is available in seven languages (English, Spanish, Slovenian, Romanian, Portuguese, Czech and French) at www.learnaddiction.eu .
In this second phase of the ‘ Learn Addiction ‘ project (February 2022 – July 2024), the six participating organizations have created a new online course on ChemSex . The decision to create this new online course was made based on the results of the European survey that the organizations participating in the project carried out in 2021 to identify new training needs among addictions professionals in the EU. 727 professionals from 24 countries participated in the survey and 48% requested training on ChemSex.
The new online course on ChemSex is now available at www.learnaddiction.eu . People who complete the course will receive a certificate describing the learning outcomes, which they can add to their Europass documents.
This second phase of the ‘ Learn Addiction ‘ project is an initiative of UNAD (Spain) in collaboration with: UTRIP (Slovenia), DIANOVA (Portugal), SANANIM (Czech Republic), De Regenboog Groep (Netherlands) and Deutsche Aidshilfe (Germany). The project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
